Sending Faxes From A Windows Application - Sharp FO-2550 Operation Manual

In the Fax Number to Dial field, enter the fax number. You may also
highlight, drag and drop a fax number into this field from the address
book entries listed in the dialog box.
To use an alternate address book, select Open and using the Browse
button, navigate to the correct address book and select Open to enable
the selected address book.
Choose the appropriate settings from the Resolution, Optimize and
Intensity groups.
Click the Start button to begin the fax transmission.

Sending Faxes from a Windows Application

You may send a fax directly from within any Windows application
providing Sharp Colour MFP Fax-Mail is selected as the printer. To send
a fax from within your Windows application, follow the steps outlined
below:
From the File menu of the application, select Print.
Choose Sharp Colour MFP Fax-Mail as your printer.
