Sharp Colour Multifunction

Introduction

Your Sharp Multifunction Interface software allows you to
connect your Sharp Colour MFP to your PC so you may use the
Colour MFP for PC faxing and scanning. The Sharp Multifunction
Interface software provides a full range of computer fax functions,
an address book, built-in OCR program, and document management
capability.
Features
Scan paper documents into your computer as an image file.
View, print, edit, annotate and save scanned documents and
received faxes in the Viewer application.
Fax documents directly from any Windows
without printing.
Send a scanned document to an E-mail recipient via the
internet that can be read by virtually any browser.
Create a personal database of fax and telephone numbers in
an Address Book, and use it to quickly fax documents.
Send the same information as a fax or e-mail message from a
single distribution list.
Convert image files and faxes into editable text for popular
word processing or spreadsheet applications, using the built-in

Xerox TextBridge
Mark-up and add notes to a scanned document or fax with
image annotation tools in the Viewer application.
To use your Multifunction Interface software, you will first need to
check your Multifunction Interface software settings and enter any
additional information needed to make sure your system is configured
properly. The procedures for checking the Multifunction Interface
software settings are described in the following chapter, Software
Setup.
