Transferring Data

Overview

Using MasterDirectory, you can create transfer maps to send, receive, or copy files. Every transfer map has
a ".trn" extension.
You can create the following types of transfer maps:
•
FTP
•
SMTP
•
File Copy

Creating Transfer Maps

Before you can transfer data, you must create a transfer map. The transfer map determines:
•
the type of transfer that will be performed (that is, FTP, SMTP, or file copy)
•
the name of the file(s) that will be transferred or copied
•
the destination of the file(s) that will be transferred or copied
You can create the following transfer maps:
•
FTP
•
SMTP
•
File Copy
