Configuring MDAccess
Overview
MDAccess is an application programming interface (API) that provides other software applications, such as
Avaya Softconsole, with an integrated interface to directories. Using MDAccess, you can access and modify
directories directly from these other applications.
This chapter describes how to specify the settings for MDAccess, which displays directory information in
the other software applications. You can specify the following settings for MDAccess:
•
the fields that MDAccess will use in applications such as Avaya Softconsole
•
the fields that MDAccess will display in applications such as Avaya Softconsole
•
the detail fields that MDAccess will display in applications such as Avaya Softconsole
