4.2.2 Command/Status

4.2.2.1 Introduction

The commands and statuses are exchanged between the Printer
Controller and MCU PWB. Using the data (commands and statuses),
the Printer Controller controls the printer.
NOTE: The communication direction of the commands and statuses are
defined as follows: (These definitions are used throughout this
section.)
- Command: Printer Controller (diagnostic tool)
- Status: MCU PWB

4.2.2.2 Data Format

The data format is defined as follows:

1st byte: Command/status code

2nd byte and the following bytes: Parameter code(s)
The parameter code bytes are variable. (Some commands/statuses
may not have any parameter.)
The codes are in HEX.
Example) Diagnostic (REGIST_CL) start command
