This command sets the detection mode to default on a global basis or per interface.

poe high-power

This command switches a port from 802.3af mode to High Powere mode. This mode is used to
power up devices that require more power than the current IEEE 802.3af power (more than 12.95
Watts at the PD). When switching to High Power mode, make sure that the device is a Class 4
device.
Three options are available:
- use this mode if the device can power up (more than 12.95 Watts) with higher current
legacy
and it cannot identify itself as Class 4 device.
Note: Only ports 1-8 support this high power.
- Use this mode if the device cannot identify itself as Class 4 device and it does not
pre-dot3at
have LLDP support.
- Use this mode if the device is a Class 4 device capable of figuring out power
dot3at
requirement through LLDP.
