    About This Manual This document describes command-line interface (CLI) commands you use to view and configure 7200 Series Switches software. You can access the CLI by using a direct connection to the serial port or by using telnet or SSH over a remote network connection. Note: This document contains both standalone and stacking commands.

    Chapter 1 Using the Command-Line Interface The command-line interface (CLI) is a text-based way to manage and monitor the system. You can access the CLI by using a direct serial connection or by using a remote logical connection with telnet or SSH. This chapter describes the CLI syntax, conventions, and modes.
