Powering the IDSM2 Up and Down

Once you power off the IDSM2, you must power it up through the switch CLI.
The IDSM2 CLI reset powerdown command performs a shut down, but does not remove power from

To power the IDSM2 up and down from the switch CLI, follow these steps:
Log in to the console.
Step 1
Enter configure terminal mode.
Step 2
router# configure terminal
Power up the IDSM2.
Step 3
router(config)# power enable module module_number
Power down the IDSM2.
Step 4
router(config)# no power enable module module_number
