NOTE
During update migration using YaST Online Update, the ZMD stack is updated
and the ZMD daemon is restarted, too. Therefore, it is advisable to avoid using
any other software management tools such as rug, zen-updater,
zen-installer and zen-remover. It is recommended to quit the
zen-updater during the migration.
1 In a running SUSE Linux Enterprise system, select Computer > YaST > Software
> Online Update.
If you are not logged in as root, enter the root password when prompted.
2 The Online Update dialog appears. Several patches are preselected. Scroll down
the patch list and verify that the package management related patches and the
SUSE Linux Enterprise 10 SP2 maintenance stack update (slesp1u-libzypp)
are actually preselected. Then press Accept to apply the selected updates.
