5.7 Serial interface

This serial interface (also called the "service socket") is easily accessible on the back of the

monitor. The 6-pin mini-DIN socket is available for connecting a suitable photometer.

If the monitor connection is made via the serial bus, the setting "Serial bus" must first have

been activated using "On Screen Display → Service level 2 → Others". In this case (also

under "On Screen Display → Service level 2 → Others") the bus address has to be as-

signed for each device (1, 2, 3, etc. - assign different numbers for the monitors connected

via the same bus connection).

Settings, measurements, calibration, and automated quality tests can be performed using

QA software.
