Removing the Embroidery Unit

To store the embroidery unit in the embroidery case, move
the embroidery arm to park position. See park position .
Remove the embroidery unit by lifting it off the embroidery
unit connector. Always use both hands to lift it off.
Store the embroidery unit in the original styrofoam packing
material, placed in the carrying bag. You can also store the
embroidery unit hanging on the wall using the handle in the
bottom of the embroidery unit.
Using the Embroidery Unit Extension
and Large Hoop Support

Attach the Embroidery Unit Extension

For all type of embroidery, except free arm embroidery, we
recommend using the embroidery unit extension. When
attached to the machine and embroidery unit, the embroidery
unit extension will give the extra stability needed for high
quality embroidery.
When using the largest hoops we also recommend to attach
the included large hoop support.
• Attach the embroidery unit.
• Slide the embroidery unit extension under the free arm
and push it towards the right.
• Before reaching the inner edge of the sewing machine,
raise the rear of the embroidery unit extension slightly to
make sure it slides onto the back of the sewing machine.
At the same time the hooks (front and back) on the
embroidery unit extension (A) should slide into the
sockets in the sewing machine (B). When pushed slightly
further to the right, the hatches on the extension (C)
should slide into the grooves (D) on the free arm.
• Once attached properly, the embroidery unit extension
should lay totally flat aligning with the embroidery unit.
