deLuxe™ Stitch System
When the deLuxe™ Stitch System feature is selected, your
machine will automatically choose the best way to control the
upper thread, by thread portioning or thread tension, based
on your selected stitch and settings. Thread portioning
automatically and continuously measures the fabric thickness
to meter the correct amount of thread for the selected stitch.
When using thread tension, the tension discs will keep the
correct amount of tension on the upper thread.
Thread portioning is the recommended setting for
embroidery except when using certain optional accessories or
special techniques which may require the use of thread
tension for best results.
Color Options
Preset your embroidery with any of the three color options:
color block sort, color block merge or one color. You can
also set these options in the color block list. Read more about
color block sort, color block merge or one color.
Note: You can set both color block sort and color block merge if desired.
Turnable Hoop Options – Side Sort
This option will only be visible if the 460x450 mm hoop is
chosen in hoop options in embroidery edit. If you want to
embroider all designs on one side of the hoop, before you
turn the hoop, select the side sort option.
