TROUBLESHOOTING
Incorrect operations are often mistaken for trouble and malfunctions. If you think that there is something wrong with
this component, check the points below. Sometimes the trouble may lie in another component. Investigate the other
components and electrical appliances being used.
If the trouble cannot be rectified even after exercising the checks listed below, ask your nearest PIONEER authorized
service center or your dealer to carry out repair work.
No power is sup-
plied even when
power switch is
ON (when the am-
plifier's power
switch is OFF, the
entire system is
OFF).

Power plug is not connected to wall
Plug in the power plug securely.

to PILLOW, even though no surround
speakers are connected (A-P710 only).

Speaker wires were connected without
removing the viny! insulation.

Strip the vinyl! insulation from the end
of the wires and reconnect them to the
speaker connectors.
Set the INPUT SELECTOR

Connect the speaker wires securely to
their connectors, or replace with good
wires.
