BASIC OPERATIONS
3. Rotate the TUNING JOG control to select the
desired frequency.
[Auto Tuning]
If the control is turned rapidly (more than 1/2 turn and
less than 1-1/2 turns) from the stopped position, the
reception frequency will continue to change automat-
ically even if you remove your hand from the control.
When a station is received the tuning will stop and
the [TUNED] indicator will be shown in the display
section.
@ To interrupt auto tuning, rotate the TUNING JOG
control once again.
NOTE for F-P770L:
Auto tuning is not possible on the LW band.
NOTE:
When auto tuning is in use, reception may not be pos-
sible for distant stations or when signals are weak.
At these times manual tuning is recommended.
[Manual Tuning]
Rotate the TUNING JOG control slowly. When a
broadcasting station's frequency is received, the
[TUNED] indicator will be shown in the display section.
@ When the unit is in the auto tuning mode, the sta-
tion frequencies will change more rapidly if the
TUNING JOG dial is rotated continuously for 1-1/2
turns or more. When you stop rotating the dial the
station frequencies will stop changing.
4. Adjust the VOLUME control on the amplifier and
the tone with the sound field processor (or the
sound image controller).
FM STEREO/MONO receiving
When receiving an FM Stereo signal, the [STEREO] indi-
cator will light, if the FM MONO button on the remote
control is-set to OFF (the [MONO] indicator is OFF).
lf the FM reception is weak or noisy because of interfer-
ence, press the FM MONO button on the remote controi
to light the [MONO] indicator. The noise will decrease,
although the broadcast is now received in monaural.
LOCAL indicator
If the broadcast station is very near, the FM broadcast
signal may be too strong, resulting in noise and distor-
tion. In this case, press the LOCAL button. The [LOCAL]
indicator lights.

JOG) pour sélectionner la fréquence désirée.
[Syntonisation automatique]
Si la commande est tournée rapidement (plus d'1/2
tour et moins de 1-1/2 tour) depuis la position arré-
tée, la fréquence de réception continuera a changer
automatiquement méme si !'on retire la main de la
commande. Lorsqu'une station est recue, la syntoni-
sation s'arréte et I'indicateur [TUNED] (accordé) appa-
rait dans la section d'affichage.
® Pour arréter la syntonisation automatique, tourner
de nouveau la commande de_ syntonisation
(TUNING JOG).
REMARQUE pour le F-P770L :
La syntonisation automatique n'est pas possible sur
la gamme GO (LW).
REMARQUE :
Lorsque la syntonisation automatique est utilisée, la
réception peut ne pas étre possible pour des stations
distantes ou lorsque les signaux sont faibles. La synto-
nisation manuelle est alors recommandée dans ces
cas-la,
[Syntonisation manuelle]
Tourner lentement la commande de syntonisation
(TUNING JOG). Lorsqu'une fréquence de station de
diffusion est recue, l'indicateur [TUNED] (accordé)
apparait dans la section d'affichage.
@ Lorsque i'unité se trouve dans le mode de synto-
nisation automatique, les fréquences de station
change plus rapidement si le cadran de syntonisa-
tion (TUNING JOG) est tourné de maniére conti-
nue sur 1-1/2 tour ou plus. Lorsque l'on arréte de
tourner le cadran, les fréquences de station arré-
tent de changer.
4. Ajuster la commande de VOLUME sur I'amplifi-
cateur et la tonalité avec le processeur de champ .
sonore (ou le contréle de relief sonore).
Réception FM STEREO/MONO
L'indicateur [STEREO] s'allume lors de la réception d'un
signal stéréo FM, ceci si la touche FM MONO sur la télé-
commande est réglée sur OFF (I'indicateur [MONO] n'est
pas allumé).. .
Si la réception FM est-faible ou bruyante en raison d'inter-
férence, appuyer sur la touche FM MONO sur la télécom-
mande pour allumer l'indicateur [MONO]. Le bruit sera
réduit, bien que !'émission soit alors regue en monaural.
Indicateur LOCAL
Sila station d'émission est trés proche, le signal d'émis-
sion FM peut étre trop fort, provoquant des parasites et
une distorsion. Dans ce cas, appuyer sur fa touche
LOCAL. L'indicateur [LOCAL] s'allume.
