Prerequisites

6. If applicable, disconnect the internal cables that are connected to expansion card.
NOTE:
The procedure to remove the expansion card or GPU is the same for Rear Accessed and Front Accessed
configurations.
Steps
1. Pull and lift up the expansion card retention latch locks to open. Pull the release black latch away from the riser. Hold the
expansion card by its edges and pull the card until the card edge connector disengages from the expansion card connector
on the riser.
