To prevent unauthorized changes of the setting, a password can be set to protect the error tag detection
setting.
Display
When the TAG CHECK parameter is set to ON (ACCESS PASSWORD)", an entry of the password
is requested. The following explanation is for when protected password is enabled.
When the password matches, the TAG CHECK parameter setting screen appears.
If the entered password does not match, an error message is displayed and the screen returns to
the upper-level menu.
When "OFF" or "ON (ID)" is selected, the password setting is disabled and the screen returns to the
upper-level menu.
When "ON (ACCESS PASSWORD)" is selected, the access password entry is requested.
When "OFF" is selected, this menu is ended and the upper-level menu is displayed.
When "ON" is selected, a protectection password entry menu is displayed.
8.12.5.2 MULT WRITE
This command is available as an RFID chip function to reduce the time to write data.
This command can be enabled by means of this setting if the firmware version of the U4 module is #20A
or later.

Enter the default password "0000" or 4-digit password
programmed in Step 6.
Select a tag check option.
・ OFF
・ ON (ID)
・ ON (ACCESS PASSWORD)
Enter an 8-digit access password.
Choose whether or not to enable the auto unlock function.
・ OFF
・ ON
When "ON" is selected, locked tags are automatically unlocked
by the access password and data write is enabled.
Choose whether or not to set the password to protect the error
tag detection setting.
・ OFF
・ ON
Enter a 4-digit password.
