8.4.4.1 System mode and user system mode start screen when password is enabled
When the password is enabled, the password entry screen is displayed at the time the system mode or
user system mode is started.
Password entry for the system mode
Display
When a wrong password is entered or the [CANCEL] key or [MODE] key is pressed
A wrong password is entered for 3 times consecutively.

Display
When a wrong password is entered or the [CANCEL] key or [MODE] key is pressed
A wrong password is entered for 3 times consecutively.
If you forgot the system mode password, disable it with @010 command.
Procedure
Turn on the printer while holding down the [FEED] and [RESTART] keys
simultaneously.
The password entry screen is displayed.
Enter the password.
The printer enters the system mode.
A password invalid message is displayed.
The printer starts in the online mode.
Procedure
Turn on the printer, press the [PAUSE] key to place the printer in the
pause state. Then hold down [RESTART] key or [MODE] key for 3
seconds.
The password entry screen is displayed.
Enter the password.
The printer enters the user system mode.
A password invalid message is displayed.
The printer locks. Turn off the printer and then back to on.
