4. Rotate the flywheel and check for misaligned

diaphragm spring fingers.

• If not as specified, replace the clutch cover.

Misalignment

0.6 mm {0.024 in} max.

1. Install a dial gauge on the cylinder block.

2. Measure the flywheel runout using a dial

• If the runout is excessive, replace the

flywheel.

0.3 mm {0.012 in} max.
