Description
Platforms Supported: 7210 SAS-M, X, T. It is not supported on 7210 SAS-R6, 7210 SAS-R12 and 7210

This command associates a split horizon group to which this port or LAG belongs. For LAGs, all the
member ports of the LAG are added to the split horizon group. The split-horizon-group must be configured
in the config context.
Configuring or removing the association of the port requires the following conditions to be satisfied:
• There are no applications associated with the port/lag (like SAPs on the port, etc.).
• The port or LAG should be administratively shutdown.
• The port should not be part of a LAG.
• To change split horizon group of a port or LAG, the old split horizon group should be first removed
from the port or LAG, and then the new split horizon group can be configured.
The no form of this command removes the port or all member ports of the LAG from the split horizon
group.

group-name — Specifies the name of the split horizon group up to 32 characters in length. The string must
be composed of printable, 7-bit ASCII characters. If the string contains special characters (#, $, spaces,
etc.), the entire string must be enclosed within double quotes.
