3 Basic Operations
Envelopes
If the print target is also an envelope, load the original envelope correctly according to the
direction the envelope for print is loaded on the paper tray.
 When the flap of the envelope for print faces to the paper feed direction, load the
original envelope with its flap left-side.
 When the bottom edge of the envelope for print faces to the paper feed direction, load
the original envelope with its flap right-side.
 When the flap of the envelope for print faces to right against the paper feed direction,
load the original envelope with its flap toward you.

Close the document cover.

Loading Custom Size Documents

After loading an original, you can specify a scan size for the original when the original is a
non-standard size or when you want to scan the original at a size different from the original
size.
