Boundary conditions

The following supplementary conditions must be taken into account for the operation of an
ADI4 on the PROFIBUS DP:
• An ADI4 can only be operated on an equidistant PROFIBUS DP.
• An ADI4 is not a certified DP standard slave as defined by the PROFIDrive profile. For example,
an ADI4 does not permit acyclic communication.
