Using the Path MTU discovery tool
The Path MTU discovery tool tests the size of the maximum transmission
unit (in other words, the largest protocol data unit that can be communicated
in a single network layer transaction).
To use the Path MTU discovery tool, do the following steps:
1.
Determine what wireless link is to be tested between the
Fluidmesh unit and another unit in the wireless network. Get the
IP address of the other unit.
2.
Enter the IP address of the second unit in the Path MTU
discovery field
