internet connection (Internet access)

7.2.1. Local access and login for initial configuration

To use the Configurator interface to access the Cisco FM3500 Endo
directly, do the steps that follow:
1.
Power ON the unit.
2.
Wait approximately one minute for the boot sequence to
complete.
3.
Connect one end of a CAT5/6 Ethernet cable to the computer that
will be used to configure the Cisco FM3500 Endo.
4.
Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to the Console LAN
port on the Cisco FM3500 Endo.
5.
Manually set the computer's IP address and Netmask to be
recognizable by the Cisco FM3500 Endo. The correct settings are
as follows:
• IP address: 192.168.0.10 (or any other IP address
• Netmask: 255.255.255.0
6.
Launch the computer's web browser.
7.
Enter the IP address of the Cisco FM3500 Endo in the browser's
URL entry field.
• If the Configurator interface is shown immediately, proceed
