Opening and closing

Open
Press and hold the "OPEN" switch. The
electronic sunshade fully opens automati-

cally.

Close
Press and hold the "CLOSE" switch. The
electronic sunshade fully closes automati-

cally.

: Lightly press either end of the switch to
stop the electronic sunshade while it is
operating.

The electronic sunshade can be oper-
ated when
The engine switch is in IGNITION ON
mode.
■
Jam protection function
●
If an object is detected between the elec-
tronic sunshade and the frame while the
electronic sunshade is closing, travel is
stopped and the electronic sunshade
opens slightly.
When the jam protection function has
●
operated, even if the "CLOSE" side of the
switch is pressed again, the electronic
sunshade will not move in the close direc-
tion until the reverse operation has
stopped completely.

Depending on the driving conditions and
the surroundings, the electronic sun-

operate in reverse.
When the automatic opening and clos-

ing function does not work
Perform the following initialization proce-
dure.
1
Turn the engine switch to IGNITION
ON mode.

Press and hold the "CLOSE" switch.
It closes until it is near the fully closed posi-
tion and then stops. After that, it and oper-
ates in the opening direction then closes to
the fully closed position.
If the switch is released before completion,
the procedure will have to be performed
again from the beginning.
If the automatic opening and closing func-
tion does not work as normal, even after
performing the above mentioned opera-
tions, have the vehicle inspected by your
Lexus dealer.
