Safe handling of CallPilot components
Precautions for handling components
Nortel Networks recommends the following precautions for any procedure that
includes handling component boards:
After removing a board from its protective wrapper or from the server, place the
board component-side up on a conductive foam pad.
If possible, use antistatic floor pads and workbench pads as well.
Do not slide a board over any surface.
Do not touch board components or gold-edge connectors on the board.
Hold a board by the top edge or by the side edges.
