(C) Motor Constant Parameters
Purpose
To select the motor to be used
To maximize the performance of the
induction motor
To maximize the performance of the
PM motor
To perform high accuracy operation
without being affected by temperature
and high-torque/ultra-low speed
To use the motor with encoder
To detect loss of encoder signals

Applied motor

By setting the applied motor type, the thermal characteristic appropriate for the motor can be selected.
When using a constant-torque or PM motor, the electronic thermal O/L relay function is set according to the motor.
When the Advanced magnetic flux vector control, Real sensorless vector control, Vector control, or PM sensorless vector
control is selected, the motor constant necessary for control (for SF-PR, SF-PR-SC, SF-JR, SF-HR, SF-JRCA, SF-HRCA, SF-
V5RU (1500 r/min series), GM-[], GM-DZ, or GM-DP) is also selected at the same time.
