In memory transmission, data stored in the SAF
memory in mm format are transmitted without
conversion.
Note: When storing the scanned data into SAF
memory, the fax unit always converts the data into
mm format.
1: The machine converts the scanned data or stored
data in the SAF memory to the format which was
specified in the set-up protocol (DIS/NSF) before
transmission.
Do not change the factory settings.
For the best performance, do not change the factory
settings.
Unit The setting determined by these bits is informed to
mm the transmitting terminal in the pre-message
inch protocol exchange (in the DIS/NSF frames).

Example: If "0" is the PSTN access code, set bit 0
to 1. When the machine detects "0" as the first
dialed number, it automatically disables V.8

code, set bit 3 to 1.)
