Components of the ET 200pro FC-2 with F-RSM
Components Function
Mounting rail The mounting rail is used to secure all the components of the
ET200pro system easily and allows the components to be connected
to each other efficiently and accurately.
Connection modules The connection modules are mounted on the interface modules. The

PROFIBUS DP The interface module interconnects the ET 200pro with the DP master
interface module and prepares the data for the electronic modules.The unit is delivered

connection element between the various ET 200pro modules.The
terminating module terminates the ET 200pro.The following interface

Safety Local repair The F-RSM is used to trigger the safety functions of the converter
switch module through the backplane bus; it switches off the power bus for the motor
(F-RSM) with bus starters and frequency converters. An F-RSM must always be plugged
module in the system to the left of the frequency converter and can be con-
trolled only through local safe inputs (Safety Local function).
Converter with bus The converter is connected to the higher-level controller by way of the
module bus module and interface module; power and motor are connected
using prefabricated cables.
Terminating module The ET 200pro bus is terminated with the terminating module
