Chapter 5 Special Effects Operations
Use the following procedure.

Press F5 (PIXEL), turning it on.

Adjust the "PIXEL" parameters.
• Left knob ("Dens"): degree of disappearance of the
periphery (0 to 100%)
• Center knob ("Rndm"): degree of jaggedness of edges of
pieces (0 to 100%)
This provides the effect of the picture shattering into fragments.
With the second set of soft key indications shown in the
NONLINEAR menu, press F1 (BROKEN GLASS) to display the
BROKEN GLASS menu.

BROKEN GLASS menu soft key indications
The items shown in this menu, and the function key operations are
the same as in the RINGS menu except for F3 (DIRECTION).
For details of operation except for that of F3 (DIRECTION), see
the section "RINGS Settings – 105" on the previous page.
Press F3 (DIRECTION), turning it on.
The direction in which the fragments of image fly when shattered
is fixed by the setting of the "Start angle" parameter.
