Selecting the cursor response – F3 (CURSOR MOVEMNT)
Selecting the operation of the trackball and Z-ring – F4 (TRACK
BALL ENABLE)
Selecting the function of the ASP/SKEW/PERS button – F5
(SKW/RAT FUNC)
Selecting the speed of image movement produced by the VELO
HOLD button – F6 (VELOCTY HOLD)
There are three options for the speed of cursor movement in
response to trackball operation, selected by pressing F3 (CURSOR
MOVEMNT) as follows.
×1: Standard speed
×2: Double speed
×4: Quadruple speed
ON: The trackball and Z-ring always operate.
SHIFT: The trackball and Z-ring operate only when the SHIFT
button is held down.
When the SRCE and ASP/SKEW/PERS buttons are lit, there are
two options for the function of the trackball, selected by pressing
F5 (SKW/RAT FUNC) as follows.
XY SKEW: The trackball inclines the image in the x- and y-
directions.
XY RATIO: The trackball changes the aspect ratio by adjusting
the image size in the x- and y-directions separately.
Note that whichever of these is selected, you can still use the
Z-ring to change the aspect ratio.
Moreover, whichever of the two is selected, pressing the ASP/
SKEW/PERS button while holding down the SHIFT button always
activates the other function.
There are three options for the maintained speed of image
movement produced by the VELO HOLD button, selected by
pressing F6 (VELOCTY HOLD) as follows.
×1: The image continues moving at the detected speed (the speed
before you removed your hand from the trackball or Z-ring)
/2: The image continues moving at 1/2 of the detected speed.
/4: The image continues moving at 1/4 of the detected speed.
