In the BKGD & EDGE menu, press F1 (BKGD) to display the
BKGD menu.

The following are some of the operations carried out in this menu.
Press F1 (BKGD).
When the background is on, the following settings for F2 to F8 are
enabled.
Use the following procedure.

Press F2 (FLAT COLOR), turning it on.

Adjust the parameters as follows.
• Left knob ("Lum"): luminance (0 to 100%)
• Center knob ("Sat"): saturation (0 to 100%)
• Right knob ("Hue"): hue (0 to 359.99°)
Use the following procedure.

Press F3 (HUE ROT), turning it on.

Adjust the parameters as follows.
• Left knob ("Lum"): luminance (0 to 100%)
• Center knob ("Sat"): saturation (0 to 100%)
• Right knob ("Sped"): rate of change of hue per frame (–12 to
+12°)
