Design Guide for the Polycom SoundStructure C16, C12, C8, and SR12
While up to four Polycom Touch Controls can be added into a project, only one
Polycom Touch Control is necessary to create the required events. The addi-
tional three supported Polycom Touch Controls are planned for future use.
Polycom Touch Control causes Events to be created
SoundStructure Studio will automatically create the appropriate integration
events when a Polycom Touch Control is added to the SoundStructure Studio
project. The events that are created are the same events that would be created
automatically if an HDX system were added to the SoundStructure Studio
project.
In this system, an HDX microphone channel and a PSTN telephony channel
are also part of the project and there are events that were created to support
those channels. See Chapter 6 for information about the events that are created
for microphones and PSTN telephony channels.
The events that are created by SoundStructure Studio specifically for the Poly-
com Touch Control are shown in the following figure and described below.
These events are sorted by their input virtual channel names.
_Polycom HDX to SST Volume
The '_Polycom HDX to SST Volume' event maps the volume information from
the Polycom Touch Control volume slider to the fader parameter of the chan-
nel called "Amplifier".
