Assign The IBM IP Address

With the IBM VLAN Sub-interface created, the IBM IP Address can now be
assigned. This is done by performing the following steps:-

From the main LCT screen select the path, Configuration > IP/Ethernet
Management > IP Interface Configuration. The following screen will be
displayed:-
Highlight an empty row in the table and click on the "Details >>" button, the
window will be expanded to display "Interface Data".
In the "L2 Interface Name" field select "vlanCVID-SVID" from the drop-
down list. Now modify this field to enter the CVID and SVID details for the
VLAN sub-interface built previously.
The "CVID" value is either 3200, 200, 1200, or 2200. Whilst the SVID value
will be either 21 or 22, this information will be provided by the Network
Planner.
Examples of this field could be:-
vlan3200-22 (for the "Parent" EDA 2530)
or vlan200-22 (for a "Child#1" EDA 2530)
or vlan1200-22 (for a "Child#2" EDA 2530)
or vlan2200-22 (for a "Child#3" EDA 2530)
In the "IP Address" field, enter the IBM IP address, this will be provided in
the CWA "GigE Metronode DLE planning" document.
