Configure PVC Management

In the "PPPoA Max Payload Option" column, check that all entries are set
to "enable".
In the "PPP MRU Subst (0..1530)" column, check that all entries are set to
"0" (zero).
Note: If the entries in this column are set to zero then the latest PVC
Management files have been used.
If the entries in the "PPP MRU Subst (0..1530)" column are set to "1500",
then the commissioning engineer has not used the latest PVC Management
files. These must be obtained from the ASP Project Manager as soon as
possible.
In this case manually change all the entries in this column from "1500" to
"0" (zero) as follows:-
Double click on the 1
type "0" (zero). Highlight the 1
bottom of the column to highlight all entries. Right click & select "Replicate
cell", all entries in this column should now be set to "0" (zero). Check that
all entries in this column have been changed correctly.
Select the "CONTROL" tab.
In the "Access Node" column the template will load the default OOB IP
address of 150.150.150.4, the Node being commissioned is likely to have a
different one allocated to it. The Out Of Band IP Address is determined by
the DLE ID, refer to Section 5.5. Change the address (if necessary) in this
column for all entries, as follows:-

Change the 1 entry in this column to the correct IP address, select the 1
entry, left click & drag down to the bottom of the column to highlight all
entries. Right click & select "Replicate cell", all entries in the "Access
Node" column will now be set to the required OOB IP Address.
In the "Line Path" column, check that the entries show the correct slot
number for the xDSL card being configured. Eg 1/2/1 refers to
shelf/slot/port numbers. If necessary change the entries to show the
appropriate slot number for the xDSL card being commissioned, as
follows:-

Change the 1 entry in this column to be the correct slot number, Eg
1/2/1.then right click & select the "copy" option. Then left click to select the

2 entry & drag down to the bottom of the column to highlight all the other
entries. Right click & select "Paste/increment & spread", all entries in the
column will now be set to the same slot no. and with incrementing port
numbers.
