Installation note: Install the scanner rear covers first, and then the printer rear cover.

Rear door and cover removal

CAUTION—HOT SURFACE: The inside of the printer might be hot. To reduce the risk of injury from a hot
component, allow the surface to cool before touching it.

Remove the scanner rear covers. See

Open the rear door.

Remove the two screws (A), and then release the latch on both sides of the cover (B).

Pull to remove the cover.
