D. Signature Analysis Tests
The fol l owi ng six signature analysis tests are des igned to test c i rc u it b l ocks of the d igital
fi lter assemb ly. Perform the fo l lowi n g steps to configure the 3561 A for any of the s ix tests :
• Discon nect the power cable.
• Put the board u nder test on an exte nder card . A l l j u m pe rs shou ld be i n the normal
(N) position.
• Connect and configu re the signature analyzer as descri bed at the beg i n n i n g of the
test you wish to perform.
Move j u m pers as instru cted at the beg i n n i n g of the test.

• Connect the power cab le and turn on power.
• I n itiate the D FA PATT test as i n stru cted at the beg i n n i n g of the test. To put a test
in the loop mode, press the SPCL FCTN key, select S E RV I C T E ST, and p ress the LOO P
menu key to l ight u p O N .
