8 When installing an extension unit on the unit, refer to the following.
When not installing an extension unit on the outer layer, cover the top of mounting screws (4
places) with accessory stickers in order to avoid receiving static electricity.
Keep the connector cover fixed.
Keep the sticker stuck as it is.
2 Multimedia unit
This section explains how to install a multimedia unit on a GOT.
A multimedia unit can also be installed together with another extension unit.
When installing a multimedia unit together with some other extension unit, after executing the procedure
in this section, refer to the following.
One multimedia unit can be installed only in the first stage of the extension interface.
1 Power OFF the GOT.
2 Remove the two extension unit covers of the GOT rear face.
3 Install the extend interface relay board on the Extend interface 2 side of the GOT.
After the installation, detach the connector cover from the extend interface relay board.
