Performance Tests

Introduction

Introduction
This chapter provides the performance tests procedures for Agilent E5052A. The
performance test names are listed in Table 2-1. The test procedures are described
sequentially in the following pages.
NOTE
Allow the analyzer to warm up for at least 30 minutes before you execute any of the
performance tests.
Perform all performance tests in an ambient temperature of 23 ± 5 °C
NOTE
The performance tests should be performed periodically. The recommended test interval is
12 months.
The test interval depends on maintenance and the environmental conditions under which
the instrument is used. You may find that the interval could be shortened or lengthened;
however, such a decision should be based on substantial quantitative data.

Test Equipment Required

The required equipment for the performance test is listed in Table 1-1and Table 1-2. Use
only calibrated equipment when doing the performance test.
