Removal Procedure

Refer to Figure 6-10 for this procedure.
Step 1. Remove the outer cover as described in "Outer Cover Removal" on page 176.
Step 2. Disconnect the power supply cables for the FDD, HDD and power distribution board.
Step 3. Remove the two TORX T20 screws (item 1) fastening the plate for power supply.
Step 4. Remove the three TORX T10 screws (item 2) from the rear panel.
Step 5. Lift the power supply assembly toward front side.
Replacement Procedure
Step 1. Reverse the order of the removal procedure.
NOTE
Fasten the TORX T10 screws (item 2) using a torque screwdriver.
