Usage guidelines
Only FCF switches and VSANs operating in FCF mode support this command.
In some situations, for example, when a node logs out and then logs back in, the node does not register
SCSI-FCP support. As a result, the node does not have a Feature value. This might cause communication
failure between the node and other nodes.
When this feature is enabled, the switch automatically obtains the SCSI-FCP support and the Feature
value by sending a PRLI packet to the node that is logging in. Then, the switch stores the SCSI-FCP
information in the name service database.
NOTE:
After this feature is enabled, nodes with older-model HBAs might not actively register name service
information with the switch.
