Usage guidelines
In some cases, for example, when a node logs out and then logs in, the node does not register SCSI-FCP
support and therefore does not have a Feature value. This might cause the communication failure
between the node and other nodes.
With this function, when a node logs in, the switch automatically obtains the SCSI-FCP support and the
Feature value by sending a PRLI packet to the node. Then, the switch stores the SCSI-FCP information in
the name service database.
When auto discovery of SCSI-FCP information is enabled, some old network adapters might stop
automatically registering the node information with the switch. Enable auto discovery of SCSI-FCP
information as needed.
