LOC86 Controls and Error Messages
ERROR 2:
INVALID SYNTAX
ERROR IN COMMAND TAIL NEAR

Meaning
A syntax error was detected in the invocation line. LOC86 repeats the invocation
line up to the point of the error.
Cause
This is usually the result of a typographical error in the invocation line.
Effect
LOC86 immediately terminates processing; aU open files are closed. The contents of
the print and object files are undefined.
User Action
Reenter the invocation line more carefully.
ERROR 3:
MISSING INPUT FILE NAME
ERROR IN COMMAND TAIL NEAR

LOC86 was unable to find the input file name in the invocation. LOC86 repeats the
invocation line up to the point of the error.
