17. Heat exchanger
17.1 Removing the defective heat exchanger
Necessary tools
•
2,5 mm Allen key.
•
7 mm wrench.
•
Universal plier.
How to remove the heat exchanger?
1. Uncouple the cooling circuit from the heat exchanger and from the engine (to exclude the engine cooling circuit from the complete
circuit). Press on the connector tab (1) and pull out the male valved fitting (2).
Tip:
Sometimes a little cooling liquid will be spilled. Wrap a small cloth around the valved fitting while uncoupling to absorb
the spilled cooling liquid.

2. Loosen both indicated screws.

3. Cut the necessary cable tie(s).
4. Disconnect the heat exchanger fan and the connector in the near of the flow switch.
