Configuring the Domain Name of the Primary Server
In case the primary SIP server is located through the domain name (Basic > SIP tab, Step3 on page
126), do the following:
Step1 Click the Basic > Network tab.

Make sure DNS server can be obtained automatically or has been specified manually.

Step3 Enter the IP address in Primary DNS server field.
Step4 You can also fill in a backup IP address in Standby SIP proxy server 1.
See Step1 and ‎ S tep2 on page 127. This allows the device to failover to the backup IP address if
the domain name resolution service fails.
Step5 Click Save.
