Configuring the Domain Name of the Primary Server
In case the primary SIP server is located through the domain name (Basic > SIP tab, Step3 on page
126), do the following:

Click the Basic > Network tab.

Make sure DNS server can be obtained automatically or has been specified manually.

Enter the IP address in Primary DNS server field.
Step4
You can also fill in a backup IP address in Standby SIP proxy server 1.
See Step1 and S tep2 on page 127. This allows the device to failover to the backup IP address if
the domain name resolution service fails.
Step5
Click Save.
