TROUBLESHOOTING
If the radiator fan motor fails to operate.
NOTE:
• Before troubleshooting, remove the following part(s):
1. Seats
2. Side panels (left and right)
3. Fuel tank
4. Battery cover
1. Check the fuses.
(Main, radiator fan motor and
ignition).
Refer to "CHECKING THE
FUSES"on page 8-48.
OK
2. Check the battery.
Refer to "CHECKING AND
CHARGING THE BATTERY"
on page 8-49.
OK
3. Check the main switch.
Refer to "CHECKING THE
SWITCHES" on page 8-43.
OK
4. Check the radiator fan motor.
Refer to "CHECKING THE
RADIATOR FAN MOTOR"
on page 8-60.
OK
5. Check the radiator fan motor
relay.
Refer to "CHECKING THE
RELAYS" on page 8-51.
OK
6. Check the coolant temperature
sensor. Refer to "CHECKING
THE COOLANT TEMPERATURE
SENSOR " on page 8-57.
OK
7. Check the entire cooling system
wiring.
Refer to "CIRCUIT DIAGRAM"
on page 8-25.
OK
Replace the ECU.
Replace the fuse(s).
NG
• Clean the battery terminals.
NG
• Recharge or replace the battery.
Replace the main switch/immobilizer unit.
NG
Replace the radiator fan motor.
NG
Replace the radiator fan motor relay.
NG
Replace the coolant temperature sensor.
NG
Properly connect or repair the cooling
NG
system wiring.
