Tap the drive gear with
a
plastic hammer
to
remove it from the housing. (Fig. 7- I 54).
Remove the shims from the drive gear
shaft. Do not discard.
Use special tool
'3, to
remove the inner
bearing race from drive gear. (Fig. 7- 1 54)
