Use the HW Diagnostic Program to check:
Whether the server operates normally.
Whether optional devices are working normally.
Starting the HW Diagnostic Program
To start the diagnostic program from diskette, you need to create
the HW Diagnostic Program diskette from CD-ROM.
To create the diskette:

Insert the M500D CD-ROM into a CD-ROM drive on any
machine running a Microsoft operating system.

At the DOS prompt, change to the CD-ROM drive (for
example: "d:\"), then press

Change to the \Img folder on the CD-ROM drive (for
example: "d:\Img"), then press

Insert a formatted diskette into the floppy disk drive, a:

At the prompt, type
with no colon).

After the diskette has been created, enter the MS-DOS
command,
TECHNICAL NOTE: MS-DOS v6.22 is recommended.

Create a label and affix it to the diskette.
