System Configuration Setup
Setup
Typematic Rate (Chars/Sec) - Sets the rate at which a
character is repeated when you hold down a key. The default
value is 6 characters per second, the minimum rate.
6 to 30
Typematic Delay (Msec) - Sets the time for which you must
hold down a key before the character starts to repeat. The
default value is 250.
250 to 1000
Security Option - Limits access to the system and/or Setup.

Setup (default)
TECHNICAL NOTE: To disable security, select PASSWORD
SETTING on the Main menu. You will be prompted to enter a
password. Don't type anything and just press
security. Once security is disabled, the system will boot and
you can enter the Setup page.
Sets the number of characters generated per
second.
6 chars/sec. (minimum) to 30 chars/sec.
(maximum)
Sets the time delay in milliseconds before
the character repeats.
The system cannot boot or access the Setup
page. Access will be denied if the correct
password is not entered at the prompt
The system will boot, but access to Setup will
be denied if the correct password is not
