4 To install the SNMP Service, use the Windows 2000 Server "Add/Remove Windows
2000 Components" option. For details, refer to the Windows 2000 Server First Step
Guide or Help.
5 If a RAID controller has been added to the server, install the RAID controller
software programs "Service" and "Power Console" using the Magnia 550D Service
Server Setup (SST) CD-ROM.
Use Explorer to navigate to the <CD_ROM>F:\Public\RAID\LSI\475\PCP directory.
Locate Setup.exe in this directory.
For details, refer to the MegaRAID Series 475 Software Guide.
6 Install the TOSHIBA Display Power Save Driver. Insert the CD-ROM, and run the
"Setup.exe" which can be located at
<CD-ROM>\PUBLIC\UTILS\TOSHIBA\DPS.
Setting up the Active Directory (to make the server a domain
controller)
If you installed the TCP/IP protocol and want to designate the server as a domain
controller in your network, you must install Active Directory. For more information, refer to
the Windows 2000 Server Help.

Post Installation (Windows NT 4.0)

After installing Windows NT Server 4.0:
1 Start Windows NT Server 4.0 and log on as an administrator (or a user with
administrator rights).
2 If no network has been created, set up the network.
3 Set up the TCP/IP for the network, if necessary. For procedures,
refer to the Windows NT Server 4.0 First Step Guide or Help.
4 Install the SNMP Service. To Install the "SNMP Service," open the Windows NT
Server 4.0 Control Panel, choose Network, and then Services. For procedures on
installing the SNMP Service, refer to the Windows NT Server 4.0 First Step Guide or
Help.
5 If a RAID controller has been added to the server, install the RAID controller
software programs "Service" and "Power Console". To install these programs, use
the Magnia 550D Service Server Setup (SST) CD-ROM. For procedures, refer to the
MegaRAID Series 475 Software Guide.
